Alex Kallio, BSN, RN, serves as the Director of Nursing for the Wellness & Recovery Center at Columbia Wellness. She joined Columbia Wellness in May 2022 and has grown alongside the organization, beginning her career at the Wellness & Recovery Center as a Registered Nurse before advancing to Nurse Coordinator and now serving as Director of Nursing.
Alex earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washington State University and is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based, and person-centered care to individuals seeking withdrawal management and behavioral health stabilization services.
As Director of Nursing, Alex is committed to fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration within the nursing team. She believes every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion, regardless of where they are in their recovery journey. Alex believes that recovery begins with connection and that compassionate nursing care can have a lasting impact on an individual’s journey toward healing. Her leadership focuses on ensuring high-quality clinical care while creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can begin healing.
Alex is dedicated to continuous quality improvement, staff development, and strengthening nursing practices to provide the highest standard of care for the communities Columbia Wellness serves. She is honored to lead a team committed to helping individuals achieve stability, recovery, and hope for the future.
